Long-form lives on cream paper. Midnight purple is for wayfinding and identity, never for body copy.
The mark color is reserved for the wordmark dot, active states, links, pull-quote rules. Not decoration — signature.
JetBrains Mono is used exclusively for metadata, captions, system labels. If it's mono, it's something the system says.
If an eight-year-old can't navigate this site on a phone in two taps, the system has failed. (Inherited from the streets.)
Easter eggs are signature, not decoration. Place them in metadata, footers, error states — never body copy. They reward attention.
