Yesterday Entrecard founder Graham Langdon published a blog post to announce a big new partnership between Entrecard and Sezwho, the comment rating system. As you can see below [in the comments section of this post], this blog now features the Sezwho system. By no means is this a permanent addition to the blog here. For the next week, we'll have a test run so if you have any issues with the new rating system, let me know! If there are no bugs and you all find it to be a good addition to the site then it will remain.

Also, while evaluating Sezwho, I've also decided to keep the Entrecard system up for now. Entrecard will now be rewarding users for thoughtful comments (based on the comments' rating) with Entrecard credits, which I think is a much better system than clicking drop on other people's cards. If you're subscribed via the RSS feed [and if you're not subscribed, sign up today!] then the new comment rating system should not affect your feed viewing. Remember, using the Sezwho ratings is completely voluntary but if you have any issues with it, please let me know!

As you may know, this blog was hosting an Entrecard contest with a grand prize of 1,000 Entrecard credits! Well the contest has come to an end and we have a winner! What's that, you didn't know about the contest? Well, if you subscribe to my RSS feed you'll never miss such an opportunity again! Even if you're not a blogger, I'd suggest subscribing as I'll be giving out more prizes that are not blogger specific next time.

I had a few issues on the backend of this blog this morning that have taken all day to get resolved but I wanted to remind everyone about the Entrecard contest that ends in two days. The turnout has been great so far and we're now up to 968 EC credits that are up for grabs! Advertisements are booked up to the end of the contest but I will try and drop 32 cards to get the total up to 1,000.

Also, Graham Langdon, the founder of Entrecard, dropped by the other day and hinted at a big announcement on the Entrecard front so I might stay with the Entrecard community depending on the announcement. In either case, the contest will go on. Good luck to everyone involved and thanks to everyone for the great turnout so far!

So I've been a member of the Entrecard community for a couple of months now and though I've gotten a bit extra traffic from the site I don't think it's the best use of my time or bandwidth. As such, I'll be removing the Entrecard card from this blog in the next few days and am giving away all of my Entrecard credits.

Right now I have 912 953 1,000 Entrecard credits in my account and will let the remaining ads run out before closing my account. There are two ways to enter this Entrecard credits contest. First, simply leave a comment below (make sure to fill in your e-mail address) and you will get one entry into the contest. Second, if you write a blog post about this contest with a link back to this post you will get ten entries (make sure to send me an e-mail or leave a comment pointing me to your blog post). The contest will run for one week, ending on July 2nd, 2008 at 11:59PM Boston, MA time.
