I'm not too big on the mind mapping software but am downloading and installing Freemind right now, there's a few upcoming projects where it might come in very handy for pre-mockup type planning. If I wasn't on a Mac I'd be on Ubuntu. It's easy enough to use that my mom has no issues with it and powerful enough for me to get anything done on it.
